About Me

Hello, my name is Zachary Neuhaus and I am a student at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. I am currently an undergraduate in the Individualized Study program. This site is to help showcase my degree plan, Resilient Technologies & Disaster Management. With my interdisciplinary degree, I hope to work on an incident/disaster response team to create resilient technologies for disaster management to help in disaster preparedness, recovery, and response. I am currently an Intern at Project Owl where I am working on mesh networks for disaster response and connecting communities. On my downtime, I am a volunteer for the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center. There I volunteer and respond to disasters and use my technology skill set to help establish internet, radio, and telecommunications after they are down and destroyed from disasters.
